India will be led by two-time Olympic medallist P. V. Sindhu at the BWF World Championships, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from August 17 to 23, as the Badminton World Federation released the final qualification list confirming a 10-member Indian contingent across categories.

Sindhu secured her place in the women’s singles draw as India’s host representative under official BWF qualification rules. The final entries for the championships were determined on the basis of world rankings as of April 28, with 64 players qualifying each in the men’s and women’s singles draws and 48 pairs qualifying in each doubles category.

India’s squad for the tournament features Lakshya Sen and Ayush Shetty in men’s singles, while the women’s singles line-up includes P. V. Sindhu and Unnati Hooda. In men’s doubles, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are joined by Hariharan Amsakarunan and M. R. Arjun. The women’s doubles challenge will be carried by the pairs of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand Pullela, along with Kavipriya Selvam and Simran Singhi.
